Valley of Fire

From Las Vegas to Valley of Fire.

The Valley of Fire derives its name from red sandstone formations, formed from great shifting sand dunes during the age of dinosaurs, 150 million years ago. Complex uplifting and faulting of the region, followed by extensive erosion, have created the present landscape.

An entrance fee is charged per vehicle upon entering the park. This fee is collected at the fee booth or at Self Pay stations.

Winters are mild with temperatures ranging from frezing to 75 degrees. Daily summer highs usually exceed 100 degrees, and may reach 120.
Summer temperatures can vary widely from day to night.
Unfortunately we visited this valley with more than 100 degrees, not so usually in april...

Here I show you the first part of our trip cause I would like to dedicate a little post to each place we visited.

Welcome to L.A.

Nine hours of jet lag weighted a lot and with little time we had to spend in the city of angels, we returned to our beloved beach.
Wind and Sun regained us forces for a few hours!
Now I'll need a bit of time to arrange the hundreds photos i took... and you absolutely cannot miss!

Hotel Coburg - Wien

Hi! We're in Las Vegas and tomorrow we're leaving for a road trip!

I take the opportunity of this quiet moment to show you the hotel where we stayed during Easter holiday.

Palais Coburg, in the heart of the Wien,  was in the 19th century , the late residence of the House of Coburg-Gotha  with its grand ceremonial rooms, but his history starts six centuries before when  was built on the former defence wall of the emperor's city.

The guests have the use of two levels suite, view park or city, a spa on the top and a michelin stars restaurant which is the most famous in Austria.

But i'll focus on it the next time!
